Not until Dani has sailed on Iain’s ship to deliver contraband to beleaguered colonists in British-occupied Boston does Iain discover Dani’s true gender. As romance blooms, Dani worries whether fate has sent her back in time to save Iain or merely to use her as an instrument of his demise.
